Although ceramic tableware is beautiful and easy to use, there are still some things worthy of our attention when using ceramic tableware. Below we introduce the precautions for using ceramic tableware.
1. Although the colored paintings on the inner walls of the ceramic tableware are bright and bright, the colored glaze contains heavy metal elements such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. Among them, cadmium and lead easily cause other internal organs poisoning, and mercury can cause hardening. The more the ceramic glaze, the brighter the color, and the more compounds such as lead and cadmium. Don't pay too much attention to patterns when choosing ceramic tableware, especially don't use bowls and dishes with painted inner walls. The newly bought tableware can be soaked in vinegar for 2~3 hours to dissolve the harmful substances in the colored glaze. In addition, the colored porcelain must not be heated in a microwave oven.
2. Underglaze colored porcelain, the pattern color is more blue and green, less red and yellow. Under-glaze color is to paint first, then glaze, and then directly fired at high temperature. Because there is no need for low melting point substances, there is no need to add lead in the pigment, and the pigment is not easy to precipitate; in-glaze color is first glazed and then applied Pigment, then fired at high temperature, does not contain lead, and the pigment is more difficult to separate out. Compared with the underglaze color, the patterned area feels as smooth as other places, and the gloss is very good, while the underglaze color is somewhere in between. Although the gloss is good, the hand feel is not smooth.
